Published Work
The illustrated recipes in this book are a project I have been working on for the past two years. They are gathered from various communities--my church, my neighborhood, my favorites, and old family recipes. It has been a goal of mine for awhile to make these into a book, so that I would be able to share my vision of these recipes with others that might enjoy them as much as I do. A grant from Haverford College’s Hurford Center made that goal possible. Food is such a part of community for me, I hope that you enjoy these recipes as much as I do. Make them with friends and family…they taste best that way! (Published March 2019)

For my high school final project, I went beyond just using words as a design element, but rather to tell a story--this is an expansion of what I had already been doing, but taking it to a new level. These pieces tell the story of my family, and all the little details that mean so much to us. The story begins with the juxtaposition of interior living spaces, with natural elements.
